I worked as a banker for 25 years at J.P. Morgan. I specialised for nearly 20 years in capital-raising, laterally for entrepreneur-backed companies.

I lived in 4 countries, worked in over 50 and had a broad career in corporate finance and markets. Over that time I worked in lending, derivatives / risk management, capital-raising and M&A. I worked with a wide range of companies both large and small, as well as pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and governments.

I managed several fast-growing businesses, including as a board member of an affiliate company of J.P. Morgan.

At Alcedo Associates we work with companies that are founder-managed and generally privately-owned. The founder(s) often have voting control of the company or, failing that, a significant shareholding. 

In some cases these companies have institutional shareholders such as VCs or strategic / corporate shareholders.

We work at CEO / CFO and Board level, providing advice into corporate strategy, funding and other mission-critical financial matters.
